The club has two motorized extractors available for club members. The largest extractor can process 4 deep or 8 medium frames. The other smaller extractor can process 3 deep or 6 medium frames. For both extractors, the deep frames are processed tangentially, which means you have to flip the deep frames upside down to extract from the opposite side of the frame. Both extractors process the medium frames radially, which means the honey is extracted from both sides of the frame simultaneously.
- Return the extractor as soon as possible.
- Do not get the motor wet.
- Thoroughly clean the extractor before returning. A pressure washer works well.
- You will need a large van or pickup truck to transport it.
