Diablo Foothills Hike

The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority owns a beautiful property just east of Gilroy called the Diablo Foothills Open Space Preserve (800+ acres) at 6280 Canada Rd, Gilroy, CA. The property is not generally open to the public, but GBA has the opportunity of a private day, showing the incredible wildflowers, on April 2. There are several hiking options:
- 1.5 miles in and back out at a 5% slope (relatively easy).
- 4 mile loop with a steep section in the middle.
- 6 mile loop with more terrain.
