GBA has recently received a very generous donation from Bob Weseloh, a former GBA member, and his family. Items donated include:
- Two like-new motorized extractors
- Hives and frames
- Suits and gloves

Dear GBA –
Thanks for all the nice comments. I really enjoyed my bee-keeping experiences – but I am at a point in life where I can no longer lug around supers full of honey! Bee colonies are very interesting and I learned something new all the time.

Dear Bob and Family, thank you so much for your generosity and gift. I can relate to your no doubt, difficult decision, to quit bee keeping at home. I started bee keeping late in life and can see that I may have only a few more years that I am physically able to do it. I do hope to meet you someday and would like to encourage you to share your knowledge, skills, and story telling with us “new bees” in any way that is comfortable for you.

The GBA apiary in Gilroy paid for itself after just one year in large part through generous donations like yours. We have hosted new beekeepers, member experience, and scouts working on merit badges at no cost to participants. You are welcome anytime.
