THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!!!
This years Santa Cruz Fair was a HUGE success! Our expanded footprint for our booth really gave us a chance to showcase not only observation hives (three this year!), but also to spotlight our members at the Club yard working with bees, and the various activities we are associated with them.
But NONE of this would have been possible without the great volunteers from our Club!! Beginning with the team who put the booth together, to those who helped ” find the queen” for over 25,000 Bug Barn visitors, to those who braced themselves for ” Education Day”- everyone made this our most successful Fair week ever!
I cannot thank you all enough for your hard work, for showing up for shifts on time, and for sharing your knowledge and passion for beekeeping with those attending the Fair.
I hope you had as much fun as I did, and even learned a little something along the way!
Thanks again!! And see you next year!!
Roark
