Interested in being a beekeeper for a day? How often have you seen those white boxes sitting in the fields, and wondered what’s inside?
Here’s your opportunity to find out. GBA has a small Apiary (a group of bee hives) just south of Gilroy. We have loaner PPE bee suits of all sizes, from children to adult XXL. We periodically hold “open house” days, where we will put you in suit, give you some general information and guidance, and open a hive. You will get to actually handle frames of bees as seen above.
